What is a Lap and Chat?

Pair up with a friend in work and encourage team members to step away from their desks, log-out of their emails and take a lap of the office, down the street or nearby park and talk through any worries they may have. If you are off site or working from home, take on your Lap and Chat with a family member or friend. Meet with your team on Zoom or Teams after your Lap and Chat and tell them who you went with and what you chatted about!

Childline is a 24hr listening service for children and young people across Ireland. We are here to support them on any issue no matter how big or small – because If it’s BIG to you; it’s BIG to us!

How to take part:

Click the 'Register' button on this page and register your company or team.

We will provide a virtual company talk about Childline, a mental health workplace tick chart, an email signature for all staff, social media participation post, information on the campaign for you to circulate with your staff and a completion certificate.
